Dong Hae stood before the large window, he blinked his eyes, astonished by the sight. Pressing his fingers against the glass, he smiled widely. The lights were bright on his already shinning skin. He looked upon the beautifully carved clock. It had small golden knobs attached to two small wooden doors with a distant curve carving to the frame. It was a beautiful, dark autumn brown. The base of the black had four small black legs to keep it standing, and it looked to be very antique. He closed his eyes and remembered that his mother used to have one as well; it was always chime a beautiful harmonic song during the mid-afternoon hours.  Opening his eyes again, he lit up in a widened smile.
"Wow! I want it! I want it!" he jumped, spinning around. He grabbed onto his scarf that was wrapped around his neck. Pulling it, he stared back  onto the window.
Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out his wallet. Dong Hae rummaged through the pockets, only finding about 10000 won.  He pouted slightly, going back to reaching the price bill.
"What!" he stepped back, shocked, "100,000 won!!"

He folded his hands across his chest, staring down. He glanced back up at the small clock. It intrigued him, and he wanted it very badly. He heard small footsteps coming up from behind him.
"Hi! I can't help but notice you."
"Me?"
"Yes… well, it's kind of hard not to notice you. Eyeing the merchandise and all."
"Eh?" Dong Hae looked at the fairly tall male. He blushed heavily, looking back at the clock, "I'm sorry…"
"It's fine, but … can I help you?"
"No. not really," Dong Hae shook his head, his eyes staying glued to the clock.
The male matched Dong Hae's eyes on the clock. Dong Hae glanced up, looking at the male's name tag. In bold letter, it read Lee Hyuk Jae. He blinked, seeing the male's smile, his scruffy darkish brown hair that wrapped perfectly around his masculine yet soft jaw line. He ran his eyes over his peachy skin and the two dark brown narrow, almond eyes.

The boy shifted his gaze over Dong Hae who was staring, dumbstruck, at him. He smiled widely.
"Is there something on my face?" he patted his cheek.
Dong Hae blinked, then shook his head embarrassed, "N-no."
"Good, well I have to get back to work." he smiled, "Maybe I'll see you around."
Dong Hae looked up at him, "Sure…"
"It's EunHyuk." he nodded, "You?"
"D-Dong Hae."
"I'll see you around Dong Hae!" he smiled, waving as he walked back inside the store to greet another customer.

Dong Hae sighed, staring down at his 10000 won. He crushed the bill in his hands, staring at the clock, then pouted and walked away. He turned back once, then made his way back home

EunHyuk smiled, peering over the edge of the store doors.
The next morning, Dong Hae ran towards the mall. He speed his way across, his small shoulder bag clanking against his legs as he jumped over the railing of the gates. Landing on his two white converse shoes, he ran to the window with the beautiful shimmering clock. Smiling and staring down, he stood stunned. The clock was gone! Where - where could it be! He looked around, actually making his way inside the small shop. The money, he brought the money and it was gone?!

EunHyuk smiled, washing down the antique tables of dust. He looked up, seeing Dong Hae wondering around the store. He had his bag held behind his back and his eyes were scanning everything. EunHyuk smiled, putting the rag down.
"Dong Hae!"
Dong Hae turned around, seeing EunHyuk calling over to him. Dong Hae pointed at himself, blinking. EunHyuk laughed.
"What are you looking for?"
Dong Hae looked down at the money, then back up at EunHyuk, "The clock."
"Oh!? Sorry, some one bought it yesterday right after you left."
"No joke?" Dong Hae felt his heart break, the one and only chance to remember his mother with.
"Yeah," EunHyuk nodded, "Are you interested in anything else in the store?"

He looked up at EunHyuk, his eyes looking over the beautiful sculpt of his face and body. He smiled, blushing at the thought.
"Sorry, there is … nothing else." he shook his head, still smiling to himself.
EunHyuk looked down at him, smiling, "Well, sorry about that. I'm sure we'll get another or find another soon."

Dong Hae lowered his gave, nodding and walking out of the store. He dragged his feet as he stopped by a small café. Christmas was tomorrow. He wanted to hard to buy the clock, have it close to have a little remembrance of something his mother had. He sat next to the window, being able to see the small antique shop around the corner. Holding the small coffee cup to his lips, he spotted EunHyuk spray cleaning the outside windows. He was having small talk with a customer who was window shopping. Dong Hae sipped his coffee, closing his eyes. He missed his chance.

He didn't feel like getting up during the day. Laying in bed with the blankets pulled to his chin was the most appealing thing to him at the moment. Hours had gone by and he slept like a child. Stretching his legs and yawning heavily finally as the sun was setting, he heard his ring town echo from his pants sitting on the ground. Flicking it open, he saw his friends number blinking on the screen.
"Hello?"
"Hae ! Last minute Christmas shopping!"
"Sung Min?" he blinked his eyes, startled.
"I found this really cute antique shop next to the café we always go to. Come with me please, please Hae!"
"Sung -"
"Great! I'll pick you up in 15 minutes!"
"Lee Sung Min!" Dong Hae looked at his phone. The call had ended. Dang it.

He stood quickly, slipping into a pair of dark blue jeans and a blue and white stripped shirt. He waited for Sung Min in front of his apartment gates. Sung Min ran over to him, pouncing him on sight.
"Thanks for joining me! EunHyuk wouldn't come with me!" he pouted.
"Eun … Hyuk?"
"Yeah. He said he had to work or something."
"On Christmas day?" Dong Hae stared.
"I thought the same thing!" Sung Min hugged the scarf around his neck. Dong Hae smiled.

Reaching the small café, they bought two small drinks.
"What are you going to buy?" Dong Hae twirled his cell phones key chain in his fingers.
Sung Min closed his eyes, "I saw this doll in the window the other day. It was porcelain I'm sure. My grandmother would love it."
"A doll? That's beautiful." Dong Hae nodded, drinking small sips of coffee. Sung Min laughed.
"Let's go? And also… I might need to borrow 50000 won, you don't mind do you?" Sung Min blushed, embarrassed.
"Min-" he chuckled, "Sure."
"Thank you! Let's go!"

Dong Hae and Sung Min jumped in through the front door. The girl at the counter bowed and smiled. Sung Min smiled, waving. Dong Hae looked around the store, waiting for his friend. So Sung Min knew EunHyuk? He wondered for how long.
"EUNHYUK! Where's my doll!"
"Sung Min?" EunHyuk walked out of the backroom, lifting up the curtain of beads, "Minnie! Don't worry, I have your doll. It's wrapped for you."
"Thanks! How much?"
"15000 won." EunHyuk smiled.
"Dong Hae can you-"
"Dong Hae?" EunHyuk blinked, seeing Dong Hae come up from behind a stack of old dusty books.
"Eun…" Dong Hae cleared his throat.
"Don't go," EunHyuk held up his hand, "Wait!" he handed Sung Min the box that held the porcelain doll. He ran back into the store room.

Dong Hae blinked, looking over at Sung Min. Sung Min looked at him, confused.
EunHyuk came out of the room, he held a large golden box. It had a silver bow around it. He smiled, placing it gently on the counter before Dong Hae. Dong Hae looked up at him, curious. EunHyuk sighed heavily, smiling. He patted the box, then took Dong Hae's soft, peachy hands in his. He placed them on the box.
"This is for you. Merry Christmas."
"Me?" Dong Hae arched his brow.
"Yes, I … I know you'll like it."
"Eun- I don't even know you."
"Just … it's for you." EunHyuk cleared his throat, "If you-"
Dong Hae ripped the casing box open. He stood wide eyed.

"EunHyuk?" he coughed, "This is-"
"The clock!" Sung Min pointed.
Dong Hae looked up, "Why did you lie?"
"I … I thought giving it to you as a present would… help me get to know you better."
"Me?" Dong Hae felt his face light up.
"Dong Hae and EunHyuk , sitting in a tree!" Sung Min clapped his hands.

"HEY!" both EunHyuk and Dong Hae blushed heavily.
"I'm kidding," he waved his hands, "Are we going to stand around here or are we going to and have fun on Christmas."
"I have to work."
Sung Min shrugged, "I have to go. Coming Dong Hae?"
Dong Hae bit his lower lip, shaking his head. He leaned against the small casing of the clock, "I'll wait, for EunHyuk."
EunHyuk smiled, laughing lightly. Dong Hae smiled.
